Sexually Transmitted Infections
Where to get tested:

Alnwick Medical Group can provide telephone advice, testing kits, and an examination if necessary.

Chlamydia self testing kits can also be accessed at:
Well Pharmacy, Infirmary Close. ( They are in brown envelopes and usually available to just pick up. If they are not there, let us know and I will ask them to restock)

Having unprotected sex (without a condom) with a partner means that you run a higher risk of picking up an STI (Sexually Transmitted Infection).

STIs are passed on between partners when they have sex. You may be unaware that the person you have sex with has an STI as there are often no signs that you can see. This also means that you can get an STI without even knowing it as no-one is immune.
